I wrote the same review for matching speakers in a different size. We have a set in the cock pit and another on the aft deck. If you want to have a concert off of your boat, then these speakers might not be for you, but for average boating use they are as good as any others I’ve heard or used for around the same price. A good audio system with control over base and reverb will make more of a difference than going up in price to find a better sound. We have had many systems over the years and I rate these as adequate for listening to music on your boat, floating off the boat nearby or on land if your boat is small enough to beach. Are they the best sound quality you can find? No – but that isn’t what you are paying for either. For us, they are just what we needed.
